September 18, 2025, Assembly of Citizens commemorated the 3rd anniversary of the Guizhou bus disaster in Halifax

The patient transfer bus which overturned around 2 am

Three years ago today (September 18, 2022), under China’s extremely strict Zero-COVID policy, innocent citizens in one of the Guizhou communities who tested positive in the mass nucleic acid tests were forced onto a transfer bus without exception. Because the strict quarantine policy had strained the capacity of their local facilities, the bus was forced to depart immediately at midnight to transfer patients. The transfer bus overturned on a dangerous mountain road section, resulting in 27 deaths and 20 injuries among the 47 passengers on board.

Today, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the Halifax chapter of the Assembly of Citizens commemorated the 3rd anniversary of the Guizhou bus disaster. What crashed that night was not only a bus, but humanity itself. Under the governance of the CCP, Chinese citizens neither have the right to legally reject unreasonable arrangements nor are allowed to question the cause of the accident. Three years have passed, but the truth still remains hidden. Yet we still remember the lives lost, and the absurd history behind this tragedy.
